Do I need a referral from my GP?

It is advisable to speak to your GP, and to request a referral to see Mr Sarela. Your GP is very important in the management of your health, and it is sensible to keep your GP involved in all healthcare decisions. But, a referral letter is not mandatory, and you can book a consultation with Mr Sarela without a referral. After the consultation, Mr Sarela will write to keep your GP fully informed of the discussion and decisions. A copy of the letter will be sent to you so that you are involved in all communications.
